mcnt (Small)The center was opened in 2006 in Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla with the aim of preserving its character and works. In the Center are old objects a family house, a church of St. Peter and Paul, the objects that existed from before and new test station facilities and a multimedia center with an interactive children's playground. The museum exhibition can be seen in the house of Nikola Tesla, where some of his inventions can be seen, and interesting information from his life. The most interesting part, however, is the test station, a copy of Tesla's Colorado lab, in which every visitor can participate in the demonstration of Tesla's coil.

muzej lika (Small)The museum has existed since 1958 and its actions are gathering of the historical and cultural heritage of the Lika region. The museum is divided into four departments: archaeological, ethnographic, cultural - historical and galleries, and within the museum there is also a museum library. The richest archaeological collection covers about 860 exhibits from three periods: prehistory, antique and the Middle Ages, and the most prominent is the rich Japodians legacy.

park prirode velebit (Small)Velebit Nature Park is the largest and most complex protected area in Croatia, with a population of 2200 km2. It starts over Senj, on the Vratnik pass, and ends at the delta of the river Zrmanja. In the area of the Park there are the strict reserves of Hajdučki and Rožanski kukovi, the Visibaba botanical reserve and the Zavižan-Balinovac-Velika Kosa reserve, where you can visit the Velebit botanical garden. When you reach the Zavižan meteorological station, which has been held for years by members of the Vukušić family, head to the nearby Velika Kosa from which the view of the Adriatic Sea goes all the way to Istria, and they say that for a good weather you can see all the way to Italy.
