Ecological-educational workshops

The basic idea of all workshops is to introduce children to the importance of nature conservation for future generations - to get acquainted with the concept of sustainable development.

Natural heritage

In addition to the speleological objects located in the park, four types of habitats are endangered and protected at the European level.

Geology

In the area of Grabovača and the wider area the oldest deposits date from the Cretaceous period. The Cretaceous period lasted from 144 to 66 million years.

Climate

According to Köppen's climate division, the Lika area belongs to the Cfb type - moderately warm humid climate with warm summers. There is also a great diversity in the climate of some of its areas.
